With summer in full force, I'm constantly wearing skirts and shorts as often as I possibly can! Doing this requires that my legs stay smooth and silky all of the time. It's always important to take the time out to pamper and take care of your legs, especially in the summer because they are almost always exposed.   I teamed up with Veet to try out Veet's new Fast Acting Gel Cream, and y'all this stuff works wonders! I applied the cream to my legs on a tiny section to make sure my skin would not react to it and then waited the recommended five minutes.

I have to be honest, I had my doubts about this product. In the past I have tried other hair removal creams before and after using a warm washcloth not one hair came off my legs! But imagine my surprise when I went to wipe off this cream on the section I tested, and my hair came off in one swipe of the washcloth. My husband laughed at me because I was so giddy and blown away! 

Seriously can you see how smooth and silky my legs are after applying the Veet Fast Acting Gel Cream? I immediately applied it to both of my legs and now I will be ready for our one year wedding anniversary trip this weekend! I'm so happy to have found a way to cut down my shaving time in the shower; seriously, ladies, this is a time saver and my legs feel soo smooth!

Our One Year Wedding Anniversary Collage with HP Sprout

It's hard to believe that our one year wedding anniversary is this Sunday! Where did this last year go??? And in two short days, we will be packed and ready to fly somewhere special to celebrate our love and the journey of marriage. 

So I decided instead of making a traditional scrapbook to commemorate some of the precious moments of our wedding, that it would be fun to make a collage of our wedding memorabilia. Enter the HP Sprout, this amazing computer specifically geared towards creatives.  This thing makes it so easy to CIY (Create it Yourself) any project you can dream of, because anything and I do mean anything can be placed on the Touch Mat and it will immediately be captured on the screen. So I gathered a few of our wedding photos, our invitation, save the date, my bridal shower invite, wedding program/fan, a few of our wedding flowers, our wedding bands and got to work!

The fun thing about the HP Sprout is that once you capture your photo you can manipulate it any way you want. You can expand and shrink parts of the image, crop, overlay as well as  re-position the image.  I could happily spend hours playing around with this super computer creating projects and exploring the many apps installed. I enjoyed perusing the Sprout Creator Gallery for inspiration and I was blown away at the creative projects I saw there. I can't wait to share my next fun project here with you very soon, hint hint: it's for my home office! So stay tuned!

Hi My loves! Are you as excited about the upcoming three day weekend as I am? It's hard to believe that this time last year, my husband and I were moving in together to begin our lives together. And a week later we were getting married!I can't wait to share a post recapping our first year of marriage together! okay, I digress...hahaha! 

Do you have any items that you own that takes you a long time to style because you want the look to be perfect? Well that's what happened with these wide leg pants! We've been trying to shoot these pants in various looks since late last summer and finally nailed a combo that I love with this look! My bright yellow crop top and my coral d'orsay flats complemented each other so well and my leopard clutch finished the look.

Happy Monday loves! I had a relaxing stress-free weekend. My main weekend project was removing these marley twists and getting my hair done and I can't wait to share my new hairstyle in a future post. Don't forget to follow me on my Instagram to catch a sneak peek before it hits the blog! I was sent this gorgeous midi skirt from my friends over at Shabby Apple. I adore the deep pink, striped organza of this skirt. This capulet skirt features a thick, accentuating waistband that fits at the natural waistline and opens to a full skirt that falls below the knee. It's flattering on most body types and you know I love a midi skirt so I was overjoyed to style this beauty!

Happy Wednesday loves! I love outfits like the one I'm wearing today that take little to no effort and consist of basic, classic pieces. Every girl should have a few pairs of skinny jeans that fit like a glove and flatter her shape. Along with that, striped tops can go with almost anything.
