Happy hump-day yall! Sooo my husband said that he loved my outfit and that I look like a traditional caroler. #dyinglaughing He may have a point, I did briefly consider walking from door to door in my neighborhood singing carols.

 Anyway, this vintage dream of a coat was the foundation of my look and every other piece just fell into place. I love when outfit magic like that happens. I think this look would be perfect for a swanky date night or to catch a broadway play.

Happy Monday loveys! There's nothing I like better than a chic yet comfortable look when I'm out with my husband or friends. This vest is all of that and more. I decided to cinch mine with a leopard skinny belt to add interest to the entire look. I'd easily wear this out for a brunch or a mall outing.

Happy Wednesday loves, we've made it half way through the week! If you're like me and this is your first back to work after 2 weeks, i'm cheering you on to stay alert and get back in the swing of things, because your girl has struggled all this week! Already scouring my calendar for my next day off/planning vacay!

Canadian Tuxedo + Blanket Scarf

Happy New Year & Monday my loves! I hope all of you brought in the new year in a fun and safe way. It feels like forever since I've actually blogged and shared new content with you, so I'm excited to do so today! But I needed the time to just unplug and enjoy my family and friends and RELAX!!! 

My husband and I enjoyed having two weeks off form work, finishing home projects we've been wanting to complete, and celebrating Christmas twice and had such a fantastic time in MS with my side of the family this year. I'm not thrilled to be back at work this morning because we may have had a little too much fun, relaxing, Netlfix binging (anyone seen Married at First Sight?!? Addicting!), and eating and sleeping in, and pretty much ruined our sleep schedules. Please pray for me today y'all! 

My first look of 2016, is an upgraded version of the Canadian tuxedo (denim on denim) outfit. I chose to pair two varying shades of denim from my jeans and shirt, my nude ankle boots, and a striped blanket scarf. I finished the look off with my go to green fall bag. 

As I enter the new year, I want to do less people pleasing and really please and be happy with myself. So as I've focused on over the past couple of years, every purchase is going to be based more on what I like, what flatters me, and quality and even less of what's simply on trend.

My 2015 Style In Review Part 1!

Hi Loves! Did you all have a Merry Christmas? This year was one of my hands-down BEST Christmases ever. God showed out and I enjoyed every moment of the time spent with my Husband, family, my in-laws, and all of our friends. I'm extremely thankful for this week of rest. I figure now is the perfect time to share the body of  work style that I shared here with you in 2015. This is the first post of two, so stay tuned for the rest tomorrow.
