Hi Loves! 

The Wear: Today I decided to step out of my comfort zone and try the boyfriend jean trend in a different way than I have before. What separates these jeans from my other boyfriend jeans, are that there are plaid patches that add a fun pop of interest. I found them refreshing and fun to style in an edgier way with my converse sneakers, and black top. I completed the look with a pop of red lipstick and my blacked out sunglasses. 

Where To Wear: Lunch date with your hubby, or girlfriends, for a shopping trip.

Target Beauty Box: Unboxing!

Hi Loves! I'm so excited to review the summer limited edition Target Beauty Box with all of you! Some of you may not know but Target curates these boxes once a month and they offer a variety of hair care and skin care products for all ages, style, and budgets. 

Here's what I received in my box: 

1. Jane Carter Revitalizing Leave-in Conditioner: I love how this spray makes my hair feel. While in a protective hairstyle like I'm currently wearing, I'm always in search of a good leave-in conditioner to keep my hair and scalp moisturized and this gave my hair life. This was hands down my favorite item in the box. 

2. Aquaphor Healing Ointment:  My husband used it and absolutely loved it!

3. Colgate Optic White Platinum Express White Toothpaste:  I plan to take this cool, refreshing toothpaste with me during my fall travels for work. 

4.  Shea Moisture Jamaican Black Castor Oil:  Anyone who knows me, knows just how much I love this brand!  I've been wanting to try this growth and restore lotion for a while and once I take my twists down, I plan to use this for a twist out. 

5. Dove Quench Absolute Creme Serum (Full Size): I have yet to try this out, but I look forward to seeing how my hair responds to this serum. 

6.  Curls Creme Brulee Whipped Curl Cream:  While I haven't used this curl cream, I have to talk about how amazing this stuff smells!  I cannot wait to try it! If any of you have tried it, please share your experience with it below!

The Skinny

Happy Humpday loves! Today's look features so many of my favorites encompassed in one! Nothing compares to a great fitting pair of skinny jeans that hug your curves in all the right places. I threw on a long line mustard sleeveless top and my snake skin color block heels to complete the look. Styling my jeans this way incorporated just the right amount pop of color to make the look stand out. Tan and neutral shoes and my bag helped to complement this color scheme perfectly. 

Now you all know I love to shop online at my favorite stores, so I was ecstatic when I heard that Groupon recently launched a service called Groupon coupons  with national retailers like Nordstrom, Sephora, Target, Best Buy, etc to provide coupons and discount codes . 

I immediately began perusing their website and found great deals from Macy's, Levi's, Ann Taylor, Nordstrom, etc. So make sure you check it out for yourself, for even more discounts!

Kaleidoscope

Happy Wednesday loves! Summer is winding down and I'm trying to be intentional about giving my favorite dresses and skirts ample wear. This is one of my favorite ankara skirts in my growing collection. It features a hi-low cut and I love the flowy quality of the fabric. It also has pockets which is always a plus in my book! Printed skirts, striped shirts, and bucket bags have been my summer go to look! I usually wear nude sandals but this time stuck to black sandals to complete the look.

This classic Daniel Wellington watch has been my daily go-to these past few weeks. It's simple and timeless and sleek and matches so much of my work wardrobe. I love how unique it is to have a black leather watch with a rose gold face. I get compliments all the time!
