Hi Loves!

I hope you all had an amazing weekend and are having a great week! I spent my weekend hanging with my sister and puppy and my boyfriend. If you are wondering where my post title came from, it's inspired from my screen t-shirt. I've had this shirt since the fall, but I  couldn't come up with the right outfit to wear it with. Once I saw it hanging in the store, I knew it had to be mine! :P I was inspired by a fellow blogger on Instagram who wore her screen tee with an over sized cardigan and decided to try it with a brightly colored blazer instead. I found this vintage beauty last fall as well, and my vintage nine west purse over the holidays. I paired them with my black skinnies, a honey mustard yellow scarf, and black over-the-knee (otk) boots. Enjoy the pics!

Today has been amazing and I'm so thankful for all that God has blessed me with!!

4 main things I am thankful for today are:

1. My boyfriend and I being blessed to celebrate another year together.

2. My baby sister turning 18 today!! (my how time flies).

3. Having such a patient photographer who believes in my blog---my sister!

4. My close girlfriend having her first child with her husband today.

Solids & Stripes

Happy Friday Loves!

I hope you've all had a wonderful week! My week has been hectic between grad school classes and teaching! I'm proud of myself for posting twice in one week!! Major props to the girls who do this everyday lol. (So, I cheated a little...this is not the outfit I wore today, it's an older look that I never posted! *hint* my hair has no auburn color in the front haha!) Anyway I've been into stripes and prints alot lately and I felt this vibrant purple blue vintage blazer really added an edge and a much needed pop of color to this long striped body-con skirt. There was a little too much black and white for me, you'll see that I rarely wear black!!

Spring In January!

Happy New Year Loves!!

I can't believe I haven't updated you all in a month! I missed you all and I hope you all had a wonderful time celebrating the holidays. I plan to post and update more often and expand my blog to its full potential this year! So, after a ton of rainy dreary days where I live, we finally got some sun! Who's excited about 47 degree weather in January? This girl. I got so excited about the weather that I decided to wear this outfit that I've been dreaming about lately. So what if it's not Spring yet? I'm going to rock my vintage neon flowered maxi skirt, steve madden "cowgirl" boots, my fave jean jacket, and tons of bright accessories. Bright colors make the gloomiest day better in my opinion. I got color in my hair in December and i've been loving it! So glad my hair decided to behave itself today lol. Enjoy the pics! :)
