Valentine's Day Look Three: [Pink Collar]

Thursday, February 12, 2015

Hey loves! Here's my third and final look for this Valentine's Day look-book! I've been loving the long coat trend this winter and didn't want to buy a coat this year. It's true what they say, there's nothing like shopping your own closet. I'm so happy that I never got rid of this long baby pink beauty that I've had since undergrad during one of my many closet purges. There were many times I was close. The fit of this coat is even better now and I was able to style it with my faux fur stole, some fun distressed boyfriend jeans, a chambray shirt and a beige cream sweater. I thought my converse sneakers added a cool touch. This look would be just right for meeting a group of friends for a mani/pedi, lunch and a movie for Valentine's Day!

Whether you're single or away from your significant other, please don't spend Valentine's Day alone! Grab some friends and go pamper yourselves, shop, and stuff your faces with chocolates and yummy food!

**Some of you may be getting diamonds Saturday from your special someone and others may have begun your spring cleaning and looking to get rid of diamonds. If you are one of the latter, I have the perfect option for you! A company by the name  Diamond Lighthouse was created to give the diamond market an objective and trustworthy intermediary. Their platform bridges the gap between people looking to sell their diamond jewelry and professional diamond dealers and jewelers. They are also hosting a fun Valentine's Day contest here! So go and enter for your chance to win!**

So tell me, of the three Valentine's Day inspired looks I've styled, which is your favorite and which one are you most likely to wear?

Valentine's Day Look Two: [Be Mine]

Wednesday, February 11, 2015

As promised, here is the second look in my Valentine's Day Look-book to help inspire you with ideas of what to wear out on a date, or girls' night out! I know red and pink are typical Valentine's day colors, but there's something so soft and romantic about the color pink, and I immediately thought of this skirt. In today's look, I've styled a full midi skirt with a striped top a casual denim jacket and nude flats. This look is perfect for a day date or easily switch into some heels and throw on a black moto jacket and you're ready for a night on the town!

Valentine's Day Look One: [Radiant In Pink]

Monday, February 9, 2015

Happy Monday my loves!! With Valentine's Day less than a week away, I figured I'd provide some outfit inspiration for anyone that has a special date for a romantic evening, a movie, or night out with the girls. I'll be featuring a little outfit inspiration all week so be sure to check back to see how I tie in pink for Valentine's Day! This first look is perfect for a Valentine's date night with the special man in your life. When the team from Shabby Apple contacted me to collaborate with them, I was overjoyed and immediately chose this Nutcracker dress. This dress comes in two other colors, green and blue, but I chose pink because I knew I wanted to wear this for V-day and it's one of my favorite colors...

The detailing on this dress is incredible. I love how the cut accentuates my waist and the little bows behind my elbows add such a feminine touch. I decided to keep the rest of the look understated with some nude d'orsay flats and a black oversized clutch.

Feeling Myself

Wednesday, February 4, 2015

I've been on the hunt for the perfect Fedora hat to not only fit my head, but complement my personal style and I may or may not have gasped audibly in the store when I spotted this olive green beauty. I held my breath as I reached to the top rack to grab it and they had sizes! Trust me one size fits all hats aren't made for this girl!

I've had this color-blocked blanket scarf for a few months and have planned so many ways to feature it here on the blog but as I soon as I brought my new Fedora home, I envisioned this whole look from head to toe. There's something so edgy yet soft about styling a sweater with a leather skater skirt, and black leggings, ankle boots, and a bucket bag finished the look.

I'm working on a fun Valentine's Day look-book that I'll be launching here Monday, so please stay tuned for some outfit inspiration!

Have you been rocking Fedoras this winter? If so, what colors and should I grab more?
