Hope you guys have had an amazing weekend! I'm currently eating a popsicle, planning my work outfit for tomorrow, and creating a huge to-do list for the week, all while writing this post. I've been really brainstorming with my creative director husband about how we can take this blog to the next level and we've got some super exciting things comping up! In the summer I live in looks like these because they are so simple and yet it looks like a huge effort was made. Give me a midi skirt, converse sneakers, a printed tee, and a bright colored crossbody bag and I'm a happy girl!

Hi Loves! In today's look, I'm so excited to share not only this look but this fabulous head wrap I'm rocking! In the summer I not only like to sport protective styles like braids and twists, but scarves and head wraps to add something funky to a simple look like the one picture. So I was so happy to support my friend Felicia in the relaunching of her new store Shop Feline and showcase one of her head wraps here with you! 

Each head wrap is made of 100% cotton and there's a variety of gorgeous fabrics and prints to suit anyone's taste. I'm wearing the Solange head wrap in this look and one side is black and white striped and the other is teal and leopard. It's large enough to cover your entire head or just wrap the top of your hair like I did here.

The New Motions Hair Care Line!

Happy Tuesday loves! Today, I'm chatting about some fabulous new products my friends at Motions Hair sent me! They were generous enough to send me their entire revamped hair care line and I have to say, that I LOVE what I've gotten the opportunity to try out on my hair so far! Not only have they revamped some of your favorite formulas, they've also completely upgraded their packaging! 

The four products I used on my hair before installing my current hair style were the Natural Textures Moisturizing Cleanser, Smoothing Conditioner, Deep Conditioning Masque, and the Radiating Hair Gloss. The cleanser left my hair clean and surprisingly soft as some shampoo products can strip your hair of its natural oils and leave it extremely dry. I loved the smoothing conditioner as well as the deep conditioning masque for extreme moisture and slip while detangling my hair that had previously been in marley twists for two months. 

I'm really looking forward to experimenting with the entire set of products sent to me throughout the summer but I'm excited to try the above 3 Natural Textures Heat Styled products (Heat Styled Cleanser, Leave-in Conditioner, and Sealer) for my next blow out on my natural hair before styling! The smell is amazing and the packaging looks pretty amazing against my counter top doesn't it?

Loving this style for the summer! Low maintenance and curly is how I like it!
