The Case of the Long Cardigan

Hi Loves! Do you ever have a piece that almost has to work hard to win you over? For instance, I picked out this long cardigan with a gift card my sister gave me for my birthday and almost returned it twice! But each time I just couldn't leave it behind and I'm so glad I kept it. I'm embarrassed to even think of how many times and how many ways I've styled this cozy flowy soft cardigan and how many ways I plan to. I wore it to my in-laws with a long sleeved striped sweater, dark rinse skinny jeans, and riding boots. In this look, I decided to style it with lighter blue skinny jeans, my newly favorite ankle boots, an olive infinity scarf and white cami. On a rarely sunny day, the color scheme really popped!

Salmon + A Shade of Gray

Happy Monday Loves! Today's post features my new favorite color combo : gray and salmon/blush! The two of these colors may sometimes seem more likely to be worn in spring but when worn like I have in this look with dark jeans, it's transformed to a winter appropriate look! I added touches of camel via my belt, purse, and ankle boots and the look was complete! Are you loving faux fur vests this winter too?

Hi my loves! So, anyone who knows me, knows I love watches. I have since I learned to tell time. When I was a teenager and I performed well on my report card, my parents would reward me with a gift of my choice and I always chose a watch. I think there is something so classic and functional about wearing a watch. Yes we can all check our smart phones or tablets for the time and other updates, but I almost always wear a watch for time. Could you imagine a beautiful marriage of both technology and a stylish watch?…






Well Motorola sure did with their new Moto 360 watch! So I was thrilled to team up with Motorola to try out the Moto 360! This watch is not only sleek but fashionable. The design and craftsmanship of this watch stays true to the timeless design of the classic wristwatch. I selected the black leather watch because I wanted a chic watch that I could wear everyday for any occasion. The band fits comfortably on my tiny wrist and with a large round screen it allowed me to be able to view the information such as notifications for text messages, social media alerts, email,etc that I need to see. 




As a style blogger, I’m constantly on social media, responding to and engaging with my readers, so I loved the fact that I could access popular apps like Facebook Messenger, Pinterest, Eat 24,etc! Another amazing feature of the Moto 360 is Voice Control, when my hands were full of shopping bags one day, I asked Google for directions to another store and even got weather updates..I mean, this watch is genius! There is even a Health Tracker that can track your distance covered, steps taken, heart rate and activity while you’re working out. This watch is absolutely a watch for our times, as it meets the many needs and real life demands of a modern woman in 2014. The classic watch can only tell time and sometimes provide the date, while this new Moto 360 watch is stylish and fun and I love that it can provide me information on the go. Olive Oyl

Do you ever put on that one piece from your closet and immediately feel wonderful, powerful, confident and like a brand new woman?? Well that's what this poncho did for me! I'd just taken my twists down and had the fro out to play as seen here and the whole look just clicked. I decided to wear my striped sweatshirt under my poncho to add texture and interest to the look. My camel riding boots were a no-brainer because it not only complemented the olive green color of my poncho but also elongated my legs. 











I have been loving this clutch since Gigi New York sent it to me and I styled it here! This company has impeccable customer service and they offer such a wide range of quality purses and clutches and for the monogram lovers (like me!) you can personalize the bags to your liking. This vibrant orange python embossed clutch immediately caught my eye and I was in love!
