Chasing Sunlight

Hi my loves! I'm so happy it's finally Friday and the weekend is here! I plan to just go thrifting for some cute Christmas decor with J and just spend the rest relaxing with some movies and hot cocoa! (I mean, I don't ask for much! lol) It's getting more and more difficult to get decent consistent lighting for my pictures, as we approach winter, to the point where my sis and I felt like we were actually chasing the sun for some decent pictures! It was the best I could do to not have shadows covering parts of my face and outfit! Anyway, today's look was loosely inspired by fellow bloggers. I swear y'all really push me to be more creative with my looks! I wore this fuzzy cable cardigan over a sleeveless dress cinched in at the waist with a skinny belt to pull it together. This is also a great way to keep warm and transition summer dresses into fall/winter.

Style Guide: When trying this layering trick, wear a sweater that is an accent color to the dress you are wearing to give the look balance and add texture. Cinching the waist with a cognac belt, gives the overall look more shape while complementing the boots.
