Cherry Knitted...

Monday, December 3, 2012

Hi loves! How were your weekends? Mine was exactly what I asked for and what I needed; fun yet relaxing! J and I went thrifting and Christmas decor shopping on Friday night. On Saturday, I made us breakfast and we just chilled and finally started watching Scandal. (Please tell me y'all watch that amazing show!! Shonda Rimes, exec producer/writer of Grey's Anatomy & Private Practice is brilliant!) We put up the Christmas tree and some of our decorations and finally got caught up on last weeks' episode of Scandal while he made dinner. Please tell me how I am supposed to wait until Thursday for the next episode after that cliffhanger...
When I showed my fiancĂ© today's look, his response was "there sure is a lot goin' on in that outfit boop, but it's cute". I laughed and said, "well what do you know! I bet my blogger girls will understand!" Obviously I have been really enjoying the layering trend this fall and my love for it is definitely carrying over into winter. What do you guys think? Is he right? Do I have a lot going on? Or would you wear something similar? ;)
Linking up here & here today!

Style Guide: Cinching in the chambray shirt underneath the chunky cable knit cardigan with a nude skinny belt adds balance, (because it matches the boots) while adding shape to what could have become a frumpy look.
