Hi Loves! Today's look is the second installment of my Skirt Style Guide! I styled my favorite leather skirt that I've also styled here & here on the blog. My aim was to style a look that was edgy and chic enough to wear when going out with your girlfriends or on a date night with your honey. I decided to mix prints at the last minute with a windowpane print blouse and striped blazer. I kept it simple with black white, and silver accessories but because I LOVE color, I threw on a bright orange bag. My pointy cut out flats completed the look.
WHAT I WORE:
[ :: Striped Blazer (Buy) :: Windowpane Blouse (Buy) :: Black leather skirt (Buy) :: Shoes (Buy) :: Orange Purse c/o Rosegal (sold out, but Black version here!) :: ]

Hi Loves! I hope you've had a lovely weekend! A few of you have asked me for ideas on how to style skirts casually, a night out, and for the workplace and I figured what better way to help with this than to create a style guide for how I style SKIRTS here on the blog! So, in each style post, I'll be sharing how I style a skirt for a certain occasion. In today's post, I style a plaid pencil skirt for a casual day out with friends, or even for a lunch date with your significant other. In this look, the chambray shirt transforms what would have been a professional look into laid back and chic! I wore some black cut out flats to keep the look simple and added my black tote bag to finish the look. I hope you enjoy this Skirt Style Guide and if you have any other ideas for pieces you'd like to see me style, please feel free to comment below or email me!!!
Hey loves I hope you had a wonderful Valentine's Day weekend!!! My fiance was so sweet and thoughtful, he really went above and beyond with surprises, which I posted on my Instagram, you can head there if you want to check out my weekend! y'all have probably been wondering where I've been...but I've been having some photo shoot FAILS!! For any blogger who does this full time, always has access to great lighting/locations and consistently gets amazing shots, you are LUCKY! It can get rough as a working girl with a realistic budget! Between the recent winter weather and the early sunsets after work, it's been so hard to get quality shots of some fabulous looks, it's gotten so frustrating. I promised myself this year, that I would NOT post poor quality shots just to stay consistent...any suggestions or tips on how to get great shots despite the weather, pleeease share below or in an email!! :)
Anywho, this look was taken a few weeks ago and I just love the simplicity of it and I'm rocking my new tote to complement my camouflage sweater and converse kicks! I kept my accessories simple to let the sweater do the talkin...What do you think?
WHAT I WORE:
[ :: Camo Sweater (buy) :: Skinny Jeans (buy) :: Black Tote Bag (buy) :: Converse (buy) :: White Button Down Shirt :: Necklace (buy) :: ]
