The It Scarf!

Hi Loves! I'm reinventing the wheel today by styling the Zara oversized plaid scarf worn by every blogger and their mama today! :D I drooled over it last year and by the time I was ready to bite the bullet and purchase it, it was sold out! Well I more than made up for it this year, I've received four different plaid blanket scarves and I'm currently fighting the urge to find a few more colors. In this look, I made my scarf the focal point by keeping most of my look neutral except for the complementing red of my vintage bag.

Inspired Style: Chambray + Pleated Midi Skirt + Trend Spin Linkup!

My hubby and I attended some fun homecoming activities at our alma mater, University of Kentucky this weekend and are in recovery mode haha! After seeing these ladies here & here, I was so inspired, I had to recreate the classic black midi skirt and chambray shirt look with my own special twist! I added an extra punch to the look with my vintage coach bag and leopard loafers. 

Did I mention 70% of this look is vintage/thrifted?

I've always loved pearl necklaces and I was so thrilled to receive this stunner from Laguna Pearl. It's amazing quality and versatile enough for a dressy or casual look!

Fine Wine

Happy Humpday loves! In this look, I'm wearing what has surprisingly become one of my favorite skirts. I actually wore this skirt two weeks ago to church with my husband with a black top. The wonderful thing about this skirt is how versatile it is. I was able to pull from the deep red accents of the print and pair it with my red slouched turtle neck. Nude shoes allowed my clothing to remain the focal point. I love effortless looks like these!

Polished Outerwear

Hi Loves, I'm currently on the hunt for a winter coat. Every other year, I like to add a unique and great quality coat to my collection. This year I'm torn between a sleek cape, a polished nude coat or a fun coat in a vibrant print or color. For the fur lover who likes to be extra cozy yet chic in the winter you will definitely find some lovely options at ML Furs. So Help!! Indian Summer

It's been a while since I styled this yellow pencil skirt. This look is minimalistic and clean yet I love it. Every look doesn't have to be busy or edgy, and you know anything with yellow and leopard is fine with me! I added my favorite nude tote bag and shoes to complete the look.
