I just LOVE this monogram necklace I received from Onecklace! I've been wanting a monogrammed necklace reminiscent of the one Carrie had on Sex and The City forever, and I finally have one! Hi loves! So I love seeing fashionistas and fellow bloggers layer beautiful sweaters and button downs and I kind of wanted to dabble in this trend. So I did!, and well, what can i say, but forgive the lumpy under sweatshirt thing happening all over this look. I have not yet mastered how to make this look smooth and  polished. Halftime...

Hey my loves! I've been watching the Superbowl with my Fiance and I'm happy that the Ravens won and all because I was rooting for them but let's be honest, the most memorable part of the game last night was BEYONCE'S halftime performance! I loved every single minute of it and she is insanely gorgeous, talented, and truly is the greatest performer alive! I have been a Destiny's Child fan since middle school so when Kelly and Michelle joined her on stage, I got emotional and began singing and crying! (J just stared at me and tried not to laugh, but he knows how much I love them!) I'm not gonna lie, after seeing Beyonce's post baby body, I'll be heading to the gym tomorrow up until the wedding! lol

Hi Loves! I'm so excited it's Friday! It's been "one of those weeks" and I am more than ecstatic to relax this weekend! I've been wanting to style this skirt for a few months, but it's just been too cold. I found it on sale at Target for $7! Of course I went in there for a totally different reason but who doesn't check out the clothing and shoe sections of Target? So when I saw this skirt, with its watercolor print, pleats, and leather piping, it became a "must buy"!

In the Deep...

Hi loves...I'm sorry but I am having trouble discussing fashion or style today. It all just seems so trivial in the grand scheme of things. The tragic incident that occurred Friday in Newtown, CT on Friday has stayed on my mind since. I have prayed and cried and cried and prayed and I still cannot understand or comprehend the violent act that took place. As a teacher, I pray I never have to be put in that kind of position with my students and that they never have to experience something so horrifying in their lives. As a future mother one day, I pray I never have to receive that kind of call...i choke up just imagining. My deepest prayers and thoughts are with the families and friends of those precious kids and victims knowing that God will give them peace, strength, and fills in the gap with whatever they need during this trying time.
