Target Style Swimwear 2016

Happy Friday Loves!
As women, we sometimes struggle with body barriers certain aspects of our appearance that keep us from enjoying swimsuit season to its fullest. I know I do! I know my body and I usually like to train and control portions in my diet to properly prepare before wearing a swimsuit so that I can be confident in its fit. This time is a little different, though, so please bear with me! Have there been times you’ve missed out on spending time with your loved ones or family on the beach or at a swimming pool due to body insecurities?

I tried on several suits before settling on the three featured in this post. Target offers all of the swimwear trends and accessories to put together any swim look you desire. You can shop swimsuits in-store or online at Target.com and, with their free shipping and free returns policy, you can try on as many swimsuits as you want and return what you don’t like.  I mixed and matched tops and bottoms and finally decided that a one-piece would better suit me during this season. To find your perfect fitting swimsuit, you can go shopping with a friend who can give you feedback or try mixing and matching different size swimsuit tops and bottoms

In the first photo, I chose a strapless one piece which is flattering and curve-hugging due to the mesh and bandeau material. The fit was perfect with just the right amount of comfort and sexiness for a day at the beach.

The second photo features a black floral print one piece and the adjustable halter strap slims and is so figure-flattering. I love the sweetheart neckline; it adds a super feminine touch.

The final swimsuit I picked out from the line is this polka dot vintage inspired piece that is simple yet sophisticated. The cut of this swimsuit will suit women of all ages and flatter all body types!

With that being said, I absolutely support Target Style’s #NOFOMO challenge to women everywhere to put their body insecurities aside and get outside and enjoy the warm weather.

As I tried on these swimsuits, the #NOFOMO challenge helped shift my outlook towards wearing a swimsuit in the winter. This summer, I’m going to go to the Bahamas and swim in the ocean and lay on the beach with my husband with #NOFOMO. You can make your own #NOFOMO pledge by using that hashtag, and sharing your summer swim goals to join in on the movement of women taking back swimsuit season in a positive, empowering way.

Hubby and I are exploring some new locations to shoot in the city. I'm so excited about some new content we're adding to the blog as well so stay tuned for those changes starting Monday. As bipolar as the weather has been, a poncho is the perfect accessory to add to any outfit. You can just layer it on when it's cold and take it off when it's warm.
